Workshops: Build and Launch Your First Rocket!

Dunedin Young Professionals (DYP) and the Otago Rocketry Club are incredibly proud to present the first Techweek Build-and-Launch Rocket Event.

This is a hands-on, practical programme designed to introduce participants to the basics of rocketry.
Through small-group workshops, attendees will learn the fundamental principles of rocket science, build their own rockets, and take part in a community launch day. These events are entirely FREE, thanks to TechStep.

Participants only need to attend one workshop:

• Option 1: Monday 19 May, 5:30pm – 7:00pm
• Option 2: Friday 23 May, 5:30pm – 7:00pm
• Location: Rimu Room, Dunedin Community House
• Minimum age requirement: 8 years old.
  

Launch Day: To be confirmed (weather dependent). We are targeting Sunday 25 May, pending confirmation from our Range Safety Officer.
