Ōtautahi Learning Days 2025: Our Energy – Past, Present and Future
Event description
Ōtautahi Learning Days is Christchurch’s local iteration of the Remake Learning Days festival. Organised by Ako Ōtautahi Learning City Christchurch, this festival celebrates learning in its many forms across the city. This event is part of #learningwithfutures:
WEDNESDAY 11 JUNE
[12pm-1pm] Our energy – past, present and future
The types of energy and how we use it in our homes, businesses, transport and communities are constantly evolving.
Come along to this interactive session to learn about and discuss the changing energy technologies from yesterday and today and trial some ‘futures tools’ to explore possible energy futures.
How do we use and generate energy in our city today?
How is that different to 100 years ago?
What might our energy future look like?
