This training session is designed to strengthen the quality, clarity, and legislative alignment of reports prepared for NDIS access, reassessment, and plan review processes.

The session covers:

Provision of Disability Evidence – structuring documentation to address NDIS access criteria and the link between impairment, functional capacity, and support needs.
Functional Capacity Assessment – mapping ICF-aligned assessment findings to the six legislated functional domains, using recognised tools alongside clinical reasoning.
Support Needs Assessment – determining and justifying reasonable and necessary supports in line with NDIS rules and operational guidelines.
Legislative Overview – a concise outline of the relevant provisions of the NDIS Act 2013 (as amended 2024) and associated rules, including recent changes that require support needs assessments.

The webinar brings detailed contextual guidance to applying assessment principles, and steps through the 10 steps of a comprehensive functional capacity and support needs assessment report, ensuring documentation is both client-centred and compliant with NDIS evidence requirements - and ICF aligned.
