Whether you’re a seasoned creative or looking to try something new, join us for a relaxed and welcoming Wagashi workshop designed to bring like-minded people with a sweet tooth together.

Our Chapters is all about making connections. Our goal is to create a space where people with shared interests can meet offline, have genuine conversations, and feel part of something more meaningful.

Come solo or bring a friend, you’ll leave with a handmade Wagashi and maybe even a friend (or two). This is the first of many gatherings in our growing community centred around curiosity, creativity, and real-world connection.

What are Wagashi?

Wagashi are traditional Japanese sweets enjoyed with green tea, known for their delicate flavors, seasonal designs, and cultural ties to tea ceremonies. Made from ingredients like rice flour, sugar, and azuki beans, they reflect Japanese aesthetics and traditions.

What to Expect:

A hands-on, beginner-friendly Japanese sweets-making session
All materials provided, just bring your creativity
Chill vibes, light snacks, and a welcoming atmosphere
Opportunities to meet like-minded people and make new friends

The Program:

10:30 am - 10:45 am | Arrive and make yourself at home
10:45 am - 11:45 am | Making Wagashi
11:45 am - 12:45 pm | Connect, share your masterpiece, and onigiri
