Event description

Guided nature walks from local experts sharing remarkable new findings from the City of Adelaide 'BioSurvey'.

In 2023/24 the City of Adelaide undertook surveys of Adelaide Park Lands biodiversity (the BioSurvey).

Join us and special guests during Nature Festival 2024 to learn about the rich diversity of habitats and living things in the Adelaide Park Lands, including awesome new discoveries!

Guided walks from:

Catherine Miles - native vegetation

Dr Katja Hogendoorn - native bees

This event is taking place in the City of Adelaide's newest Key Biodiversity Area (KBA) - find out what makes this area a KBA, what species call it home, and why!

We'll be taking time to connect with nature by appreciating the beauty and diversity of local ecosystems - download the free iNaturalist app to record observations as we go.
