Our Site: Have Your Say Online Workshop for Parents and Carers of Women with Disabilities
Event description
Women With Disabilities Australia is expanding Our Site, a website by and for women with disability.
We want to hear from parents and carers of women, girls, female identifying and non-binary people
with a disability about what’s important for you on sex, sexuality,
relationships, and gender based violence.
You are invited to attend the online workshop, via zoom.
The workshop will run for approximately 1.5 hours with remuneration for your time provided. This will be in the form of a $50 voucher.
We will be talking about topics that are challenging. We want to hear people’s stories, but we do not want you to be hurt in the process.  We also want you to be able to participate as much as possible so will want to see how we can best meet your accessibility needs.Â
Auslan
If you require Auslan Interpreters, please contact Sarah Smallman, Project Officer, on sarahs@wwda.org.au at least two weeks before the event, and we will do our best to secure an interpreter.
Other access needs
