OUT of ABINGDON create soulful, acoustic, lounge music.

Warwick Hargreaves and Tina Fullerton’s stripped back guitar, double bass and vocal blend is a grooving, soothing, sonic elixir in amongst a bustling soundscape.

After playing and touring extensively for over 14 years the duo made the move into touring and living full-time in their converted house truck and love sharing their music with audiences far and wide.... Writing new music drawn from tales and experiences on the road OUT of ABINGDON will release their much awaited 5th independent album RED DIRT TRACKS in April 2024 ....

OUT of ABINGDON have numerous tours to Europe and the UK under their belt, playing jazz clubs in Edinburgh, Berlin and Paris. They are darlings of the East Coast Festival and venue circuit where they’ve built a loyal following.

Playing at Savannah in the Round, Brisbane Festival, Brisbane International Jazz, the GAS, Wallaby Creek Music, Wintermoon, Northern Australia Festival of Arts and Black Mountain Unplugged in QLD, NSW’s Kiama Jazz & Blues, Illawarra Folk, Peak Music, VIC’s Bendigo Blues & Roots, St Kilda Blues and Tassie’s Cygnet Folk have been some of the highlights of recent years.

The diversity of festivals and venues where they are welcomed, is a reflection of the scope of OUT of ABINGDON’s musical appeal. With influences from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Bjork, to jazz and contemporary greats, OoA are not easy to pin to a genre, but their musicianship, genuine love of playing and onstage chemistry shines.

‘listening to Fullerton's warm, breathy voice is like being dipped in melted dark chocolate, Hargreaves' blues guitar is mesmerising’ Broadway Baby EDINBURGH

'Very cool, very smooth, reminiscent of 'Stringman Sassy' and 'Tuck and Pattie' ... these guys are fascinating!' Steve Austin, ABC Radio Brisbane

'Refreshingly unassuming...soft vocals, laid-back bass and cool grooves....unexpected contemporary covers'

‘The duo create a soulful atmosphere where unpretentious musicianship is firmly centre-stage’

Karl S. Williams and Sally Wiggins make music that is steeped in delta blues, gospel and old-time folk, with poetic sensibilities that call to mind the classic singer-songwriters of yesteryear. With a voice that sounds about a thousand years old Karl moves between guitar, piano and banjo while Sally holds it down on the kit with mesmerising rhythms drawn from her wealth of jazz and Afro influences. Together they create music which veers effortlessly from acoustic intimacy to fuzzed out garage blues.
