Event description

This will be a weekend of deep connection and learning about country, about culture and each other.
Everyone in the town team movement community is welcome to come along. Including the town team people, local government people we work with, our partners, staff, board, etc (only appropriate for people over 15 though).
Tickets are $200+GST+BF per person and will be given to Shaun to pay for his time and cover some catering costs.
You will need to provide your own:
*Camping gear (tent, bedding, mattress, etc). Note: We will be out bush so there won’t be facilities or bathrooms close by
*Transport to and from - we’re driving about 4 hours north east of Midland to places only accessible by 4x4 wheel drive. If you don’t have access to 4x4 and wish to car pool please contact Patrycja Rosinska at patrycja@townteammovement.com If you have spare seats in a 4x4 drive then please let Patrycja know too!
*optional - bring sharp knife and sandpaper for making tapping sticks
*Campfire beverages and snacks
Catering will consist of some traditional foods such as kangaroo tail and damper. If you have dietary requirements please let Patrycja know.
It is preferred we travel in convoy to and from Perth as we’ll be stopping for stories along the way. Leaving 6am on the Saturday (from Centrepoint carpark, opposite Midland train station) and coming back Monday afternoon to the same place.
If you really want to come to this but can’t afford it or make it happen for any financial reason please reach out to Patrycja and let her know and we can work something out.
