Mycelium mushrooms are a gardeners best friend, teaming with fungi will support your plant/tree health, increase yeilds and recycling organic matter such as mulch quicker. Learn to grow your own garden oyster mushrooms by building a mushroom garden bed with easy to find waste masterials. These are abeginer friendly mushroom variety that are best grown in gardens. This beginner-friendly workshop with Stuart Muir Wilson about the practical role mysclium mushrooms play in ecosystems and garden, while being introduced to the magical world of fungi. You will be leaving with a garden spawn starter kit and all the knowledge to get mushrooms growing in your garden back at home. 

About Stu: Program Coordinator at Melbourne’s Ecological Justice Hub, Stuart is an architect and permaculturist who has worked in conflict zones, ecological catastrophes and in the field of international development in areas as diverse as Mexico, Nepal and the Amazon.
