Outliers & Outlaws Tour and Rooftop Nosh
Event description
Join Outliers and Outlaws curator Judith Raiskin for a private tour and light rooftop nosh at the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education.
Outliers and Outlaws: Stories from the Eugene Lesbian Project draws from 83 oral history interviews about the lesbian community in Eugene, Oregon from the 1960s-1990s. This project is considered to be the largest oral history collection dedicated solely to the lesbian community. Come hear from Raiskin about what made Eugene a “lesbian mecca” and the key role lesbians played in passing civil rights legislation in Oregon. Stay after for light bites on the roof and a chat with the curator!
