Description

In a derelict Soviet-era retirement home, a group of its elderly residents rehearse the original play "Shakespeare's Sins". Follow the troupe as they bond and find community in this thought-provoking exploration of the loneliness that comes with aging.

Closing Night & Award Ceremony

The festival closes in Sydney with our Awards Ceremony recognising the outstanding films and filmmakers showcased throughout this year's program, as selected by the Festival Jury.

This is followed by the screening of the exceptional documentary Outliving Shakespeare, with filmmaker Inna Sahakyan in attendance for a post-screening Q&A.
