Over 55’s Employment Session & Afternoon Tea
Event description
Join us for a special afternoon tea at Cessnock Leagues Club on Wednesday 12 March, from 1pm to 3pm.
Discover how you can shine in short-term employment opportunities!
This session is designed to help those over 55 explore unique side-hustles, supplement their pension, and enhance their health, wellbeing, and community connections.
Hunter seniors can broaden their work horizons over a cuppa and make new employment connections when Cessnock City Council hosts an afternoon tea focusing on short-term, temporary, and casual jobs for people aged over 55.
The free event at Cessnock Leagues Club between 1pm and 3pm on Wednesday 12 March is being held as part of the 2025 Seniors Festival program.
Those looking for work will be put in contact with prospective employers at the casual expo-style event. A guest speaker will share their experiences and employment consultants will be on hand to share advice on government training and employment programs.
