Over 60 Years In The Making - Membrey's Open Day
Description
60 Years in the Making — join us as we open the doors on our new home.
Membrey's Transport & Crane Hire has been moving Victoria's heaviest and most awkward loads since 1962.
Three generations on, we're opening the gates for a day.
Come and see the fleet up close — prime movers, floats, and mobile cranes you don't often get to stand next to.
Meet the crews.
And take a look at the Queensland depot we opened at Yatala, our next chapter.
There'll be food & coffee to purchase, kids' activities and giveaways across the day, and plenty for the family.
It's free, but please register so we know how many to cater for and can plan parking and site access.
Please note: this is a working heavy transport yard. Closed-in footwear is required for everyone attending, including children.
Children must be supervised at all times, and access to some areas will be restricted for safety.

Yes, official 60 Years in the Making merchandise will be on sale on the day, as well as many of our other merch items.
- What happens if the weather is bad?
Light rain won’t stop the day. In severe weather, extreme heat or high fire danger, parts of the program may be changed or the event cancelled. We’ll confirm by 2pm Saturday 12 December by SMS and email, so please give a mobile number when you register. The event won’t be rescheduled to another date.
- Will there be a crane demonstration?
Yes, at set times, weather permitting. It only goes ahead if conditions are safe, and the crane crew has the final say on the day.
- I can't make it anymore. What should I do?
Please cancel through your Humanitix confirmation email or reply and let us know. That frees up your spot for someone on the waitlist.
- What will you do with my details?
