Come Join Us for Over the Hill Hiking. A Wellness Adventure Series!

Are you ready to embrace the beauty of nature, make new friends, and indulge in enriching wellness experiences? We invite you to "Over the Hill Hiking," a series of six invigorating hikes specially designed for those aged 55 and over. Join our expert Instructor Jamie Scally on a journey through the picturesque grade 1-3 trails of the Great Southern, where each hike is paired with two unique wellness activities.

Emu Point Adventure:

Date: Wednesday, October 2nd
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
Location: Emu Point Café, Emu Point, Albany


Hike Details:

  • Duration: 1-1.5 hours
  • Route: Coastal paths with views of Emu Beach and Oyster Harbour

Wellness Activities:

  1. Clay Creations with Bruce Shale: Enjoy a creative outdoor pottery session. Bruce Shale, a local potter with a passion for functional and quirky designs, will guide you in creating your own pottery piece inspired by the natural surroundings.
  2. Exploring Fitness & Stretching with Jenna Honey-Smith: Participate in a tailored fitness and stretching session designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Jenna Honey-Smith will lead this supportive and invigorating class in a beautiful natural setting.

What to Expect:

  • Scenic Beauty: Experience the charm of Emu Point’s sandy beaches and coastal views.
  • Creative Expression: Engage in a hands-on pottery activity.
