Overnight Surf Trip - Wāhine on Water

Dive into the Moana. Explore, adventure and have fun with other North Shore Wāhine.
Join us for a surf camp based at Muriwai Beach, on the stunning west coast. This camp is for young woman between the ages of 18 - 24yrs that live on the North Shore of Auckland. No matter what your experience, total beginner or learning to trim along green waves, join us to to develop your surfing skills.
Saturday afternoon Muriwai Surf School will take you for a 2 hour lesson developing your knowledge or teaching you the basics. That evening we will camp out under the stars. Wake up the next morning to the sound of the waves crashing, refreshed and ready for your second lesson to work on the skills we have learnt.
Activity equipment, Instruction and camp fees are covered as part of your ticket.
Not covered:
Participants will need to provide own camping gear and food and transport to Murawai Beach. Please link to our facebook group to organise ride shares.
Please note you will need to provide us with your Vaccine Pass to attend this event, and be between the ages of 18-24 yrs, located in the North Shore of Auckland. This project is made possible through the allocation of Tu Munawa Fund, Harbour Sport and Sir Peter Blake MERC. If you are outside the age range, please contact us to be added to our waiting list. If there are spaces left we will contact you.
