Ocean View Fire Company Comedy Night 8/16/25

Join us for a night of laughs featuring three comedians, light snacks, and refreshments. All proceeds benefit the Ocean View Volunteer Fire Company. Doors open at 7:30, show starts at 8PM.

Tony has an unique take on being a "baby boomer." He shares his life with audiences all over the Philadelphia/South Jersey area. His has appeared in comedy clubs in the US and Europe as well as fundraisers in all types of venues.

Feature: John Kensil

John began his comedy career as a joke writer for radio personalities, then wrote for Jay Leno and Joan Rivers. John had been entertaining audiences with his aptly titled "John Kensil Show", a sarcastic takeoff on the old Dean Martin show, with John as hose and a cast of offbeat character comedians dropping in.

Everything John talks about in his act is based in reality. From his girlfriend running off to become a professional Stevie Nicks impersonator in a Fleetwood Mac cover band, and leaving her kids and moms ashes with him, to growing up as one of seven Irish kids in a working class Philadelphia neighborhood.

The Legendary Wid is one of the funniest people to ever come from New Jersey. Since his humble beginnings in Cranford, NJ, The Legendary Wid has gone on to become the undisputed Prince of Props and Puns! In fact, when you look up "Prop Comedian" in the encyclopedia, it says, The Legendary Wid. He is also the subject of an award-winning documentary film entitled, "Wid" by Jason Ferraro and Brian Galla. From his sold out shows at New York's The Bottom Line in the early 80's to his frequent TV appearances ever since, The Legendary Wid has always been an audience favorite. Wid uses props and puns to hilarious effect.
