Event description

Free Me!

At the Older Women's Network (OWN), we believe that older women are an amazing group within our community!  Yet somehow, popular culture has lost sight of that and peddles a narrative that being old is a negative experience. It's time to change that narrative!  We deserve better, and it starts with embracing our wisdom and vitality so we can be free to BE, without being restricted by ageist stereotypes.

What if we could make a start on changing the narrative by writing a letter?

What if writing that letter could change how we see ourselves and our bodies?

What if by sharing our experiences, we could empower one another and fully embrace our ageing selves?

You're invited to our online workshop!

We are delighted to be collaborating with Danielle Dal Cortivo for this workshop.

In this 2-hour workshop, you will have the opportunity to express yourself freely in a safe and supportive environment. We'll explore the conversations surrounding our bodies, including ageing, bodily changes, and societal expectations.

Our vision is for you to leave the workshop with increased confidence, and belief in your own power to rewrite your own ageing narrative.
