Event description

Join us for a workshop designed to help you better use your digital devices (mobile phones/tablets/laptops) to find resources, both free and paid, for tranquility & wellbeing. If you're just a digital beginner or proficient, we can help you to use your devices better and help you find the resources you need.

What You Can Expect

  • Practical Skills: Learn where to find and use meditation apps and explore online mental health resources that support your wellbeing, tailored for all levels of experience.
  • Guided Demonstrations: Engage in hands-on practice, and how you can integrate these tools into your daily life at your own pace.
  • Enrich Your Hobbies: Discover online resources that enhance your interests, from book clubs to knitting groups, in a welcoming environment.

Workshop Highlights

  • You'll find out about Get Online Week resources which will provide comprehensive guides and materials on digital tools for mental health and wellbeing.
  • You'll be introduced to the Be Connected Learning Portal, featuring an extensive library of tutorials and courses designed for older adults.
  • Have a hands-on demonstration to improve your digital skills, learn how to join online communities, and explore resources relevant to your interests and needs.

Don’t miss this opportunity to improve your digital skills in a supportive atmosphere and connect in the community.

Light refreshments will be provided!

For any questions or more information, you can call us on (02) 9519 8044.

We look forward to welcoming you!
