About the training

You’ll learn how to test mobile apps with assistive technologies such as screen readers, external keyboards, and text-scaling — the same tools real users rely on every day.

You’ll discover the difference between automated, manual, and user testing, and learn a practical workflow you can use right away.

What you’ll learn

By the end of this session, you’ll:

  • Understand the different types of accessibility testing (automated, manual, user testing)

  • Know how to use the main assistive technologies and settings on iOS and Android

  • Learn how to plan, execute, and report accessibility findings

Target audience

This session is perfect for:

  • Mobile app developers

  • QA/test engineers

  • Accessibility specialists expanding into mobile

  • Web testers who want to understand mobile testing

No prior experience with mobile accessibility is required.

Certification

Participants who complete the full 90-minute training will receive an Abra Academy Certificate of Completion after completing a Quiz at the online Abra Academy.
