Event description

P&F Speaker Series

We are pleased to welcome Paul Dillon as our final speaker for the 2025 P&F Speaker Series

Paul Dillon has been working in the area of drug education for almost 30 years. Through his own business, Drug and Alcohol Research and Training Australia (DARTA) he is regularly contracted by agencies and organisations across the country to provide updates on current drug trends.

He continues to work with many school communities to ensure they have access to quality information and best practice drug education. An ex-school teacher, Paul has an interest in working with young people, and regularly provides drug information sessions and workshops to students across the country. His best-selling book for parents titled ‘Teenagers, Alcohol and Drugs‘ was published in 2009 and has since been released internationally, being translated into a number of languages.

As Paul will be speaking to our boys in years 9, 10 and 11 during the day of 20th November, It’s a great opportunity for parents to hear from the same expert talking to their sons on this important topic. It will also help parents have the right tools to start conversations with their sons. Parents with sons in year 7 and 8 would also benefit from hearing the information in the parent session, as their sons will take part in the sessions next year and the year after.

Location: OBLT, Newington College

Date: Thursday 20th November

Time: Starting at 6.30pm; doors will be open from 6.00pm with light refreshments served

If you would like to attend, please select GET TICKETS above. RSVPs will close Friday 14 November (if not already fully booked).
