Pōneke Wellington Poetry Slam Champs

Motif Poetry and Poetry in Motion present the Pōneke Wellington Poetry Slam Champs 2023!
During the year we've hosted four heats and now the best of the best will battle it out to be crowned the capital's Poetry Slam Champion! The top three poets will nab a place in the NZ Poetry Slam Finals at the end of the year.

This is big and loud poetry at its very best. Come stomp, holler, and cheer for your favourite as the Capital's top spoken word artists perform for your votes.

Doors are at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. This event often sells out so book ahead!

The National Library auditorium (entrance on Aitken St) is Wheelchair accessible.
The performance will not have an NZSL Interpretation or audio description.
