Pace Bend Race Weekend Campout

Team Snacks is headed to the races! We are a club for women/trans/femme cyclists. If that's you, you're invited to join us for this super fun weekend. Expect to make lots of new friends, eat snacks, and have fun riding bikes.

The plan

Pace Bend is a big park with lots of fun stuff to do. Folks who RSVP will be invited to join our Slack and Zello channels so we can find each other easily. We'll also share a schedule of club-hosted activities. You can participate as much or as little as you'd like.

Cost

You'll have to bring your own park entry fee ($15 per person). Pace Bend only accepts CASH.

Otherwise, your RSVP is free.

Carpooling

Pace Bend only allows two vehicles per campsite, so your RSVP is needed to help us coordinate carpools.

What to bring

Depending on what you want to do, bring camping gear, a road bike, and/or a mountain bike. Helmets MUST be worn while riding.

Pace Bend has swimming when the water is high enough.

Cash. The park might be free that weekend, but otherwise, the entrance fee is $15 per person for camping and $5 per person for day use.

Sunscreen.

Drinks and food. If you're feeling generous, bring extra to share. There's a really nice gas station not too far from the park (10 minute drive) if you run out of provisions.
