PACT House: Full Circle
Event description
PACT House: Full Circle, Honouring Roots, Embracing Now, Inspiring Futures.
A celebration of African culture, curated by Lucky Lartey
Full Circle
is a one-day festival of arts. It is a dynamic, intergenerational celebration of Africa
and African Diaspora arts, featuring dance, music, visual arts, film, and traditional African
games. Full Circle offers a unique space for cultural exchange, honouring the past,
embracing contemporary expressions, and envisioning the future of African art.
Audiences can experience powerful performances, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and connect with artists,
practitioners, and academics shaping the African art scene in Sydney.
Curated by Lucky Lartey – A Sydney-based dancer and choreographer at the forefront of exploring intercultural
dance practices as part of the contemporary dance space in Australia. Born in Ghana, West Africa, Lucky’s dance
and choreographic work draws on a rich history of traditional rhythm and dance whilst engaging with contemporary
movement practices and contemporary art forms.
Come to celebrate creativity, community, and the enduring legacy of African arts across generations.
