Paddock Creek Reserve Plan Community Consultation
Event description
Friends of Paddock Creek has received a substantial grant from the Victorian government through its Tiny Towns fund to help undertake the development of an updated plan for Paddock Creek Reserve. Moorabool Shire Council has contributed funds towards the cost of a native vegetation survey in the Reserve and Barwon Water has also provided a grant towards the project. FoPC’s application for the Tiny Towns grant was strongly supported by Moorabool Shire Council; Moorabool Catchment Landcare Group; Barwon Water and the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority. FoPC continues to work
with these parties and the Victorian Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action to undertake the project.
We will be undertaking community consultation sessions on Wednesday 4th December to present preliminary site analysis and seek community input into the development of the new plan for the Reserve. FoPC appointed Crux Landscape to help develop the new plan and they will present the findings from a community consultation survey and their work to date. Please come along to either the daytime or evening session and have your say.
