Paediatric Emergencies Mount Gambier PRIME Lite PM 06-09-2024

A hands on educational session for health professionals treating patients experiencing paediatric emergencies in the Emergency Department.

This program is suitable for ALL staff who work in the Emergency Care Setting.  This course is especially suited to EMC/EMD/IEMTP candidates, Nurses, Paramedics and Medical Staff

Places are limited and priority will be given to individuals who provide Emergency Care in the Limestone Coast.

They will utilise a blend of Interactive Case Study, Practical Skills Stations, and Scenario Based Learning to support effective management and applications within clinical situations:

• Assess and appropriately manage paediatric respiratory dysfunction
• Assess and appropriately manage paediatric circulatory dysfunction
• Review principles of crisis communication, teamwork, and leadership in paediatric emergencies
