Pain Science for the Manual Therapist

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Presented by Bodine Ledden and Shaun Brewster, this webinar will provide participants with a view of pain science, through a manual therapy lens.
As health practitioners, it is critical now more than ever that we understand and utilise contemporary pain science principles in our interactions with clients.
The problem though, is not only how to do that, but how to do it effectively.
There is a multitude of different approaches that the research and various "experts" suggest we adopt, but which approaches fit best in our way of working with clients, and what is the best way to incorporate them in our consults?

This webinar will attempt to provide viewers with broad understanding of pain neuroscience, how pain is perceived and experienced from a physiological perspective, how it changes the brain, and what each of us can do on a daily basis to ensure we are providing our clients with the best chance at managing or overcoming their pain.

There will be ample opportunity to ask questions and discuss specific presentations.

The single-use link to this webinar will be embedded into your virtual ticket from Humanitix.

The recording of the presentation will be made available for one week after the scheduled delivery, where you'll be able to download and save a copy for yourself.
