Paint a trinket dish or Bud vase
Event description
Come choose a little ceramic bud vase or a trinket dish and with the assistance of creative clay studio learn to apply a design to the previously wheel thrown ceramic shape.
Using underglazes you will design your pattern onto the pots. These will then be dipped in a clear glossy glaze at the studio and returned to you within a week.
the underglazes and shiny glaze are all food safe.
These workshops will be held inside the coolest shipping container in the CBD.
Live in Vacant Spaces has provided this space which goes under the name of the Incubator.
I have allowed one and a half hours for these workshops but the project can be achieved in less time ( lunchtime creativity ) This workshop is to design and paint one little ceramic item.
Only 5 at a time due to the space being small. Perfect for a group of friends.
