Paint & Sip Social Event- Lara

Come support Our Village (some may know this group by their former name-Geelong Mums),  and support their “…vision of turning pre-loved into re-loved so every child thrives” while having a fun night out creating art at the Rotary Club of Lara District August Paint and Sip Social Night.

Bring a group of friends or make new friends during this monthly social night, proudly started and run by the Rotary Club of Lara District since August of 2024.

Create a masterpiece for your own home, make a special gift for someone who will smile looking at your own creation on their wall, and leave with lots of fun memories.

Our club provides painting supplies (to include choice of acrylic or poster paint), an easel, one canvas (additional canvases are available for $10.00 with exact change appreciated) and several themes are available each month to choose from to paint.

Painting is done at your own pace so that you may socialise and fully enjoy your experience your own way. We welcome everyone from the ages of nine years old and up, as long as adult supervision is provided through out each event.

Bring your famous dish to share, pick up a platter from a local small business, grab whatever snacks you can find in the car as you head in, as the Lara Golf Club has you covered drinks available at bar prices.

“About Geelong Mums

We are located at 110 Balliang St South Geelong.

Founded in 2013 and inspired by the work of St Kilda Mums, we are a voluntary network of people working together to collect and sort donations of baby and preschool children's clothing, toys, books and essential nursery equipment like cots, prams and car seats.

These items are quality and safety checked then rehomed by maternal health nurses and social service agencies to families across the Geelong region.

We believe that by reusing and recycling much loved babies and children's gear, we not only share the joy of motherhood with each other, but we save the earth's precious resources too.
