Description
Join local artist Ellyane Wall to create your own shorebird masterpiece to take home during a lovely evening at the Greenhouse.
She'll be guiding as your paint and create 'The Common Greenshank', bird of the 2026 Darwin-Garramilla Shorebird Festival. Despite their name, there is nothing common about this cute bird and the style your painting will bring to your home.
All art supplies will be provided, and the Greenhouse will be open to provide your preferred beverages.
About the artist
Ellyane Wall
Best known for her delicate gouache landscapes, homegrown Darwin artist Ellyane Wall draws from direct observation of the world around her, painting everyday interactions with local flora and fauna. She has shown work as part of Darwin Street Art Festival and Darwin Fringe Festival; her sell out debut exhibition, Binybara: Bear Witness, was held at Untitled Gallery in April 2025. Her favorite birds are Brahminy kites and Bush-stone Curlews.
