Paint and Stitch It with Sarah Walker

Join local Toowoomba artist Sarah Walker in the 'Paint and Stitch It' workshop, where you'll learn to combine the beautiful mediums of embroidery and abstract style painting to create a postcard sized take home artwork! 

All materials will be supplied.

Sarah Walker is a practicing visual artist inspired by colour, quirkiness, life and death, and fruit! Sarah love's the still-life style. She likes to incorporate it into abstract, and mildly surreal styles as well. She also creates in a wide variety of other mediums as well including crochet (specifically Amigurumi - cute Japanese style of crochet), knitting, designing and sewing clothing, embroidery, and is an accomplished classical pianist.


These workshops have been made available to the community with the assistance of the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) which is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Toowoomba Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
