We are so excited to welcome Anthea da Silva back to Mount Murray Farm. Anthea is a renowned artist whose passion for portraiture and life drawing deeply influences the themes in her art. Painting Hydrangeas is inspired by her time here on the farm in late spring and the beautiful blooms of hydrangeas in our garden.

About the Event
Anthea da Silva is coming back to Mount Murray Farm. Anthea is not only one of our dearest friends, she is a renowned artist whose passion for portraiture and life drawing deeply influences the themes in her work. You’ll be learning about brush techniques while painting Hydrangeas in a relaxed, creative group setting at the farm.
Donations at the checkout can be made, with proceeds going to Médecins Sans Frontières as part of this event.

Anthea da Silva’s work has gained national recognition, including winning the inaugural Darling Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra in 2020. She has also exhibited in the Portia Geach Memorial Award at the S.H. Ervin Gallery in Sydney and been featured in publications such as ArtDaily and the Sydney Morning Herald.
In addition to her own artistic practice, Anthea has led workshops across WA, VIC, and NSW, and has contributed to the arts as an arts lobbyist, educator, artistic director, and festival team collaborator.
Her return to Mount Murray Farm for this special painting afternoon is not to be missed.
