PAINT THE FEELING
See what you’re feeling. Understand what it’s telling you.
Sometimes you know something is going on within you, but you can’t quite put it into words.
A feeling keeps coming back. Something affects you more deeply than you expected. Or you find yourself thinking about the same thing again and again, without really understanding why.
What if, instead of trying to figure it all out in your head, you could see it in front of you?
Paint the Feeling is a 90-minute online mindfulness and intuitive painting experience designed to help you explore what’s going on within - through brush, colour and paint.
You don’t need to know what you’re feeling before you arrive. And you definitely don’t need to know how to paint.
I’ll guide you through a simple process to help you understand what’s happening within — and find your way through it.
👁 See your feelings on paper.
Give what’s happening inside you a colour, shape, movement or mark — without worrying about making it look good.
🔎 Unpack why it keeps coming back.
Slow down and get curious about what’s underneath the feeling instead of immediately trying to analyse it, fix it or push it away.
👂 Listen to where it’s guiding you.
Explore what the feeling might be showing you about what matters, what you need, what hurts, or what may need your attention.
The painting isn’t the goal.
Understanding yourself a little better is.
Sometimes words come first. Sometimes colour does.
This experience gives you another way to listen.
No painting experience needed
There is no right or wrong way to paint here. Your painting doesn’t need to be beautiful, finished or even make sense to anyone else.
It simply becomes a space where something you’ve been carrying internally can become visible.
Come exactly as you are - curious, confused, emotional, calm, or not quite sure what you’re feeling yet.
What you’ll need
• Watercolours, acrylics, coloured pencils — whatever you already have
• Watercolour paper or any thicker paper
• A brush, jar of water and cloth if you’re using paint
• A pen and journal or notebook
No special art supplies needed. Just bring what you have — and something you’d like to understand a little better.
