Painting With Paper: A Collage Workshop, with Ray Monde
Event description
Painting With Paper: A Collage Workshop
🎨 No experience required – just bring your imagination!
Uncover the potential of paper in this hands-on collage workshop at Tyger Gallery: Painting with Paper – A Collage Workshop.
Guided by artist Ray Monde, you'll explore the unique technique of ghostworking, a process that merges images, text and texture through layered acrylic glazes on magazine pages.
Ghostworking involves applying translucent washes of paint to printed imagery, allowing fragments of text and visuals to ghost through the surface. This process creates works rich in depth and serendipity.
You’ll come away with your very own ghostworked collages - a still life and whatever else you choose to create.
All materials and refreshments supplied.
🗓 Date: Sunday 25 May, 2025
⏰ Time: 1-3pm
📍 Location: Tyger Gallery, 84 Comur Street, Yass, NSW
