Strathbogie Shire Council Painting Workshop with Philip Hickingbotham

Strathbogie Shire Council, in partnership with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, present this creative flood recovery opportunity.

Artist Philip Hickingbotham will be facilitating these Painting Workshops in Nagambie and Avenel.  Philip  has been working as a professional artist for 10 years. His work has been displayed in numerous competitions and galleries across Australia.

Each participant will learn acrylic painting techniques and take home a captivating landscape painting of Gum trees reflecting on flood water, highlighting the profound impact that waters has had on our community. This workshop is designed for all levels of painters, aged 13+.

Participants will be required to bring:  Art smock/apron or old shirt that can get paint on it.
