All are welcome to celebrate Palestinian Christianity at our Advent Dinner Fundraiser hosted by the Palestinian Community of Western Australia (PCWA), in partnership with Palestinian Christians in Australia (PCiA), and proudly sponsored by Christianpilgrimage.com.au, and Falistique.

We will gather to celebrate our cultural symbols to honour and embrace the enduring faith and hope of the Christian community in the land of Christ's birth. And with this, we will also raise funds to support the vital work of the Shepherd Society in Bethlehem who are supporting our most vulnerable Palestinian fellow brothers and sisters meet basic needs such as food and medical care.

What’s Happening?

We are very excited to announce that our Advent Dinner will feature:

🌿 Long-table dining style sharing Palestinian flavours together.

🍽️ Handmade sweet treats from our community!

🎁 Christmas Market featuring Palestinian-made gifts from Falistique, Freesoul Artisan and more!

❤️ An opportunity to meet Palestinians and share in solidarity and prayerful reflection.

🌿 Palestinian Olive Oil tasting experience to honour our heritage.

🗣️ Live music performances from Zaid and Dana.

🎁 Beautiful Palestinian art and cultural apparel for Auction and Raffle to raise funds.

🌿 Sage or incense burning ritual to lighten our spirits.

Here’s an idea of what to expect:

🕝 6:00 PM – Arrival, Register and Mingle
🌿 6:30 PM – Welcome Addresses and Olive Oil Tasting
🍽️ 7:00 PM – Dinner Served and Prayer
❤️ 7:40 PM – Music by Zaid and Dana
🌿 8:00 PM – Auctions and Raffles
🧘 8:30 PM – Dessert and Arabic Coffee

Everyone in the Palestinian community and the wider Western Australian community is warmly welcomed to attend! This is a family friendly event.

❗BYO: As an event run in partnership with Palestinian Christians in Australia (PCiA), invitees may bring their own wine, as is customary during Christmas Advent celebrations. Soft drinks and juice will served by PCWA.

🍽️ Food & Refreshments: Sharing food together is the lifeblood of Palestine. All our gatherings include snacks or a meal, depending on the time and format of the event.

❤️ Our Values: Respect, Palestinian Pride, and Community Unity are at the heart of everything we do.

✅ Qualified Organisers: Our team includes individuals with qualifications and experience in Working with Children, first aid, and trauma-informed care, to ensure a safe and welcoming space for all.
