Join us for our annual Palliative Care Queensland round tables!

Have your say and share your thoughts on the following questions regarding the palliative care sector:

What are the top three issues currently facing palliative care in Queensland?
What are the most critical policy changes required to improve clinical practice and program delivery?
What are the most effective or innovative programs currently in place that could be scaled across the state?

We value your input to ensure we can effectively advocate on your behalf. The discussions held during these roundtables will inform the development of our 2026 priorities and guide our 2026–27 Pre-Budget Submission to the Queensland Government.

We will be hosting three sessions throughout September at various times and dates. You are only required to attend one session, so please select the option that best suits your schedule.

Palliative Care Queensland (PCQ) is a leading charity and independent peak body representing palliative care providers, consumers and their families and those with an interest in palliative care in Queensland. PCQ was established in 1988 and is a membership-based organisation, supporting the individuals, families, carers, community members, as well as specialist and generalist health care professionals working with Queenslanders experiencing serious illness, dying, death and grief. Collectively, the PCQ membership body holds tremendous knowledge and wisdom about the challenges the sector faces and the opportunities those challenges can bring. PCQ is a founding member of Palliative Care Australia.

Our vision: to hear Queensland community members say:
