Echoes Across Time
Echoes Across Time is a group exhibition featuring three local Indigenous artists working across various media including painting, fur, weaving and wood carving.
The exhibition speaks to this year’s National Reconciliation theme – Bridging Now to Next. The theme reflects the ongoing connection between past, present and future, and encourages all Australians to step forward together.
This group of female artists from different countries and generations honour connections to country through their diverse art practices and storytelling. They communicate their unique relationships to culture and country, from past wisdom from ancestors, to a present where they are building an optimistic future.
