Event description

Join Holly for a morning of art play and stories!

Together, we'll adventure through different stories (classics and new releases too), each carefully selected to invite children to join the storytelling process. Then we'll spend time exploring different art activities, including painting, small world play, construction, collage, print-making and more. We have around three activities set up each session that children and their parent/guardian are free to go between, along with musical instruments, puppets and other fun things to play with. Our sessions nurture creativity and play and often explore themes, like under the ocean, outer space, or food!

Story Makers is best for ages 2 - 5. Parents/guardians must stay with children.

We love to host these sessions in the Paper Bird Courtyard underneath the Story Tree. We recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting paint on and bringing a snack and some water (or ordering something to eat from next door). In the event of inclement weather, we'll host the session upstairs in the Paper Bird Gallery.

A note on ticketing

Please purchase a ticket for each child that will attend. Adults accompanying children do not need a ticket. Babies who are spectating are very welcome and do not require a ticket.

We offer a discounted add-on ticket for siblings. Please purchase this add-on in addition to a full-price ticket.
