Description

Raising a gifted or twice-exceptional child often means becoming their advocate, their interpreter, and their researcher, usually all at once, and usually without a map.

Cultivating Curiosity runs programs to help with exactly that. This page is one place to register your interest in any of them, so that whenever a new round opens, you're the first to know and can grab a place before it fills.

By registering here you'll be kept in the loop about two programs:

Practical Pathways for Gifted and 2E Families — a six-session series for parents and carers who want to understand their child's learning, feel confident in conversations with schools, and know what to actually ask for. We work through what giftedness and twice-exceptionality really are, how differentiation is meant to work and how to spot when it isn't, how to prepare for and approach school meetings, supporting the whole child, and building a learning plan that starts where your child actually is. Less theory for its own sake, more things you can use on Monday morning.

Parent Advocacy Support — more focused, one-to-one and small-group support for parents who are in the thick of it: preparing for a specific meeting, putting a case to a school, understanding your child's rights, or working out what to ask for and how. For when you need a hand with your situation, not a general overview.

Both are warm, practical and grounded in current Australian policy and research, and in lived experience, both mine and other families'.

This page is an expression of interest, not a booking. Registering tells me there's demand and means you'll be invited directly when a new round of either program opens. Sessions run online, scheduled around what works. There's no cost and no commitment in registering, and you can tell me which program interests you below.
