Positive Partnerships: Parent Involvement and Engagement
Event description
The National Quality Framework and the national Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) ask educators to go beyond traditional parent involvement activities to form ‘respectful supportive relationships’ with families (NQS Standard 6.1).
We know that when the family and educators work together this has multiple benefits for the child, but we also know that it can be difficult to encourage parents to come along to information or education sessions. Come along to find out the why, when, what and how of involving parents in a meaningful way. We will share ideas on how you build community to help every child and adult feel that they belong!
