An interactive Parent Session: Raising Resilient Kids
Event description
Resilient children have the strength to bounce back from adversity, to adapt to change, and to thrive despite life’s challenges. Resilience is a skill that can be developed, nurtured, and strengthened over time.

Time: 7.00pm-8.30pm (6.30pm for welcome tea and coffee)
Location: Ivanhoe Girls' Performing Arts Centre
At this Interactive Parent Session you will;
- Explore practical strategies and techniques you can use to help your children build resilience.
- Understand problem-solving skills needed to encourage a positive mindset.
-Embrace the qualities needed to foster resilience in children at every stage of their development.
-Empower our kids to face life’s challenges with confidence and courage, building the tools they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Tea and coffee will be kindly provided and served by the Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School Parents’ Association at 6.30pm allowing you to have a mingle and chat with other parents prior to the Seminar.
There will be time at the end of the session for questions, alternatively, should you wish to submit a confidential question prior to the Parent Seminar, please do so via counselling.services@ivanhoegirls.vic.edu.au
