Parent Workshop T3 - Turn a Flaw into a Superpower
Event description
Event Presenter: Seamus Evans
This keynote will give you a newfound confidence to overcome the adversities you face at both home and work.
Watch as Seamus hilariously shares his personal struggle with Tourette Syndrome, ADHD and failing school to pursue a career in the most unthinkable career .... a TV presenter and breakfast radio host.
He will provide insight on how to give children confidence to embrace their setbacks their life may have gifted them with. Covering the themes of resilience and adversity you can help your children run with RESILIENCE, dance with ADVERSITY and conquer with CONFIDENCE.
This presentation is designed to educate people on neurodiversity, its challenges, benefits and how to engage both professionally and socially with someone who may seem a "little different". Inclusivity is so important among Australians with neurodiverse conditions being diagnosed more frequently, "being different is now the new normal".
We warmly invite parents to join us at 5:30pm for light refreshments, followed by an engaging session from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
