Come join the Real Parents team for Parenting at Your Best!

Parenting at Your Best is two 2.5-hour workshops for parents to collaborate and connect while growing a stronger understanding of their kids. These sessions will be broken into two 1-hour blocks with a break for some complementary kai, coffee, and kōrero. All attendees will also receive a workbook and physical resource pack to support their children's development.

You'll learn:

How to establish strong connections with your kids that are positive and loving.
How to support your kids with their big emotions, as well as yours too!
What wellbeing is, and how to support this for you and your kids, and know what to do to ensure to nurture, and
boost your wellbeing. Wellbeing is strongly connected to resilience so this is also a core part of this session.
To have more awareness of your parenting style, where this comes from and how to better remain as the parents we want to be.

We promise these sessions will be super fun, facilitated by our Real Parents director, Anna Mowat. With a background in psychology, Anna has worked across the child development and wellbeing space for nearly 20 years, some of her work includes being the child and family adviser for the All Right? campaign, the original project lead of Sparklers, and a writer for Manahau, Tākai and Mitey. In addition to directing Real Parents Anna is also a parent coach and a facilitator of The Incredible Years and Incredible Years Autism programmes.
