Tuning in to Kids® is a FREE five session emotion-focused parenting program. It is an evidence based program which provides parents and carers with skills in emotion coaching, which is about recognising, understanding and managing their own and their children’s emotions. When children develop these emotional skills they are better able to negotiate the ups and downs of life.

Learn to stay calm when dealing with children’s behaviours
Assist children to prevent/reduce challenging behaviour
Learn how to better cope with children’s emotions and become more aware and assertive through:
- keeping in contact with the kids
- problem-solving
- anger/conflict management
- managing children’s behaviour
- communicating with children
- emotional self-care strategies.
