Event description
Parents' Point is a monthly AGA event for the families of Intersex, Trans and Gender Diverse folks of all ages to connect with other families like theirs!
Parents, Guardians and Carers are invited to meet up and share with each other in conversation facilitated by AGA staff. Come and share a meal with community (dinner is on us!), swap stories, ask for advice, or offer your own! This event is perfect for the Parent who is new to the community and eager to learn, the Aunt looking to be a better advocate for the young people in their extended family, the Foster Parent working to access Gender Affirming Care for their young person, or any other adult with a TGD+I person in their life that they are caring for!
Can't find a babysitter? AGA staff will also facilitate an activity for any young people who also come along while the grown ups are chatting.
---
We encourage all who come to events wear a facemask and are double vaccinated (and where possible have received your booster shot) unless you have a medical exemption.
Accessibility: AGA House is equipped with an accessible parking space, ramp entrance and an accessible bathroom. If you want to attend but are unsure if this event is accessible to you, please contact us at the contact details below.
