Coaching Commitment
This is a coaching program, not just a weekly class. Progress comes from consistent practice between sessions.
Daily Body Movement — 15 min
Each week you’ll receive specific drills based on our class focus. These build:
Coordination and body awareness
Cleaner movement
Control and range
Muscle memory
Confidence
Do at least 15 minutes a day.
Weekly Partner Practice — 1 hour
You’ll also have one hour of prescribed partner practice each week. Schedule it whenever works for you — even before or after class at the park near the studio.
Practise progressively:
No music: mechanics, connection, weight transfer, balance, clean execution
Slow music: same timing as class, maintain control and quality
Faster music: keep timing and technique clean under pressure
Stretch goal: explore musicality — vary timing, accents and duration while keeping technique intact
This isn’t about remembering steps.
It’s about building technique, control, consistency and musical adaptability through deliberate practice.
We teach it in class. You build it through practice.
