Park JAM Quick Six Aug 3rd 2024

What to expect:

Time poor but keen to play? Need a hand learning the songs? Are you a beginner player and want to improve your skills?  

Come and play in a circle with other musicians.  Haven't got time to learn a full 20 songs, try a Quick Six.  The sessions include a tutorial of each song, then a full play through just like a Park JAM, only with 6 songs.  These 6 songs are also included in the Park JAM July event.  They are simple and easy to learn.  Players will be given suggestions for the level of ability with suggestions for skill development.

All charts will be supplied in PDF along with a Spotify list of the songs we will play in order.  You will also have access to a Google Classroom (an online learning platform) with links to tutorials to help you get familiar with the songs. 

4.00pm: arrive and set up

4.15 - 5.15pm:Workshop each song

5.15 - 5.30:  Play through the 6 songs

5.30pm: Pack up and vacate

Loop - a non attending ticket with access to the Google Classroom, charts and Spotify link.

Loop Upgrade - Upgrade your Loop Ticket to an attending ticket.

Who are we:

We are a once-a-month group of players who meet mostly in the Vic Park Area (Perth Western Australia). We are easy going cruisey people and we like to sing and play a variety of songs from different eras of a strummy nature, sing our hearts out, and add some harmonies if we can.
