Park to Pub Fun Run - DERBYFEST

Kick off DerbyFest with the Park to Pub Fun Run — an approximately 8km community run or walk along one of Derby’s most picturesque trails, Valley Ponds, before finishing at the pub.

Whether you’re chasing a time, getting the family moving or simply keen to soak up the scenery, this one is for everyone.

Date: Saturday October 17
Registration: From 8:30am at Branxholm Recreation Ground
Race Start: 9:00am
Distance: Approximately 8km
Finish: Through the front door of The Dorset Hotel, Derby.

The course follows the beautiful Valley Ponds Trail around the mirror lake, with a highway crossing towards the end of the route. This crossing will be marshalled, however all participants are asked to proceed with care.

Finish Line Cheers

Cross the finish line through the front doors of the Dorset Hotel, where every participant will be welcomed with FREE Finish Line Flirt Spritz — non-alcoholic and refreshing.

Your ticket also includes a free return shuttle to Branxholm Recreation Ground at the conclusion of presentations, so you can leave the logistics to us and enjoy the celebrations.

The first across the finish line will take the win in each of the following categories:

• Children’s – Under 16

Prize pool includes:

1st Prize: Two-night stay at the Dorset Hotel in an ensuite room, including dinner for two at the Hotel — entrée, main and two complimentary standard beers or wines per person. Valued at $600.

Runner-up Prizes: Two separate vouchers for a one-night stay at the Dorset Hotel in an ensuite room. Valued at $200 each.
