Parkes planning system drop-in session
About the session
Community drop-in session about how energy from waste proposals are assessed in NSW
The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure is hosting an informal community drop‑in session about how the Parkes Energy Recovery Facility proposal will be assessed under the NSW planning system, when the applicant lodges a development application and Environmental Impact Statement.
There will be no formal presentation. Instead, you are welcome to drop by at any time during the session to speak with Department staff, ask questions, and learn more about how State significant development proposals for energy from waste facilities are assessed.
The session will provide information on how and when you will be able to have your say on the Parkes Energy Recovery Facility proposal.
