Event description

Cycling through G.S. Kingston Park / Wirrarninthi (Park 23) in the western Park Lands

Walk, run or ride a loop around Adelaide completely through our beautiful parklands! Join the main walking group or go at your own pace in your own time.

Adelaide is uniquely encircled by a figure-eight of parks.

A walking lap around the city is about 14km - a perfect distance for a lovely autumn walk (or run!)

For cyclists, there is a slightly longer route that goes around (rather than through) the Botanic Garden (no bikes allowed).

On Sunday 6th April our friendly hosted group will depart from Himeji Gardens at 9am, walk the 14km loop of the CBD (not North Adelaide) in a CLOCKWISE direction aiming to finish back at Himeji Gardens several hours later.

We will stop halfway at Cafe Bonython in Bonython Park.

Join this 9am hosted walking group OR do your own loop at a time of your choosing, either walking, running or cycling (a suggested online route map will be provided).

Feel free to pick your own adventure: add in North Adelaide for a longer route; just do a few kilometres; cycle several laps; jog with a pram... the how and how far is up to you!

Either way, wear some green, take photos on the way to post using #parklandsloop, and keep an eye out for fellow loopers!

REGISTER (with a free ticket) to let us know either that you wish to join the hosted 9am walking group, or that you will be joining in but on your own schedule. All registered participants will get a suggested online route map.
